What's Included in this Release

The iTimekeep April 2024 release contains two features: a new time category and a new calendar view.

New Features:

New Time Category: Accountable Time (Expert Only)

Users can track Accountable (pro bono) time as a separate category from Non-Billable time. The category label can be customized to better align it with firm terminology.

Note: The Accountable time label is limited to 20 characters.

Administrators can enable and configure the display of the Accountable Time category. To locate the Accountable Time label settings, open the iTimekeep Portal and navigate to Configure iTimekeep > Firm Defaults. The visibility display for Accountable Time is set to OFF by default.

Note: Accountable Time requires an update to iTimekeep Connect. Please contact Aderant Support for assistance with updating your firm’s version of iTimekeep Connect.

Display Holidays (Expert Only)

Users can view holidays in iTimekeep to record holiday hours alongside regular billable time. The holiday information is pulled from your firm’s Expert system, and will display in both the Calendar and Passive Time Assistant views.

Administrators can enable the display of the Holiday Calendar. To locate the setting, navigate to iTimekeep Portal > Configure iTimekeep > Aderant Options. The display Holiday Calendar setting is set to OFF by default.

Note: The Holiday Calendar setting requires an update to iTimekeep Connect. Please contact Aderant Support for assistance with updating your firm’s version of iTimekeep Connect.
