Filtering and Sorting

Filtering and sorting options can be applied to timer views to organize them.

Filtering

Filters can be applied by clicking the Filter button. When a filter is active, Filter becomes Filtering. To remove an active filter, click Clear Filter.

The following filter options can be applied:

Category Description
By Keyword A text field that requires at least two characters to filter timers by.
By Time Select from one of the following time periods. Only timers that fall within the selected time period will be visible:
  • All
  • Today
  • Last 7 days
  • Last 14 days
By OCG Live Status Select from one of the following statuses. Only timers with the selected status will be visible:
  • Error
  • Warning
  • Info
By Matter Select a matter from the list of all matters currently in use on timers. Only timers with the selected matter will display.

Sorting

To apply a Sort to timer views, click Sorting.

Timer views can have the time entries organized according to the following options:

Sort By Description
Recently created Timers will be organized by latest to oldest.
Note: This is the default sorting option.
Drag and Drop By clicking and dragging on a timer, you can rearrange them to your liking.
Note: This sorting option is automatically set when you drag and drop a timer into a new position.
Client Name Timers are organized alphabetically by client name.
Client Code Timers are organized numerically, according to client name.
Matter Name Timers are organized alphabetically, according to matter name.
Matter Code Timers are organized numerically, according to their matter code.
Color Category Timers are organized by shared color category.
