Collaboration – Assistant

Assistants can make collaboration requests of timekeepers. Approved collaboration requests grant an assistant access to a timekeeper’s time entries, and allow them to perform actions on behalf of a timekeeper. A banner at the bottom of the screen will state who you are working on behalf of.

To make a collaboration request to a timekeeper:

  1. Open the hamburger menu.
  2. Select My Timekeepers. A popup containing all timekeepers in your firm’s subscription displays.
  3. Search for your desired timekeeper.
  4. Select the timekeeper and confirm the collaboration request. The timekeeper is notified and will either approve or deny the request.

To access an assigned timekeeper in iTimekeep Desktop and perform actions on their behalf:

  1. Open the hamburger menu.
  2. Select My Timekeepers. A popup containing all assigned timekeepers displays.
  3. Select a timekeeper from the list. A new browser table opens, showing the timekeeper’s time entries.You can now, on behalf of the selected timekeeper:
    • Create time entries
    • Edit time entries
    • Submit time entries
