The Super Assistant role is set up by firm administrators, and grants the assigned user access to all timekeepers within your firm’s organization without requiring individual approval for each. Super Assistants can act on behalf of any timekeeper in your firm’s subscription and can favorite timekeepers from the My Timekeepers popup.
Adding Super Assistants
For a new user, the Super Assistant role can be assigned as a part of the Add User workflow.
To set up a new user with the Super Assistant role:
- In the iTimekeep Admin Portal, open the hamburger menu.
- Under iTimekeep, select Manage Users.
- Click the Add User button above the user table. The Add User to Subscription screen opens.
- On the Add User to Subscription screen, select the Super Assistant role. By default, the role selection is set to Timekeeper.
- Click Next and proceed through the new user setup process.
To add the Super Assistant role to an existing user:
- Open the iTimekeep Admin Portal.
- Open the hamburger menu and navigate to Manage Users.
- Select the intended user and click Edit.
- Select the iTimekeep tab.
- Click the Edit button to enable role selection.
- Select the Super Assistant role.
- Click Save.
Favoriting Timekeepers
Super Assistants can favorite timekeepers. To favorite a timekeeper:
- Open the hamburger menu and select My Timekeepers. A list of all timekeepers in your firm’s subscription appears in the All Timekeepers tab.
- Click the Favorite Timekeepers tab.
- Click the + Add Timekeeper button.
- Select the intended timekeeper from a list of all timekeepers by clicking on the
icon. The icon will turn solid
, indicating the timekeeper is selected.
Note: You can remove a timekeeper from the favorites list by selecting the star icon again.
- Click Done to finalize the selection(s).
